"SVS is very a supportive and flexible workplace. SVS is also a diverse, inclusive and innovative environment that enabled me to learn with confidence. With a small child at home during lockdown it was difficult and stressful sometimes. However, SVS was very collaborative and agreed to allow me to complete my work mostly at night. Working online was a new experience for me so it was confronting but the SVS team are approachable online and I could ask any questions during our regular meetings. Knowing that I would need more IT skills to work effectively in social work in the future, it was a valuable experience for me.
